What this site collects

Research Protocols does not require accounts, does not sell products, and does not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. The site is a static reference library.

The only data collection is privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) used to understand which protocol pages are useful. The analytics script is deferred and only loads after a visitor interacts with the page, so a passive page view sends no data at all.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar browser storage to distinguish visitors and measure aggregate page usage. This data is used in aggregate to improve the reference index; it is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Third parties

Analytics data is processed by Google under Google's privacy terms. Outbound links on this site (for example, to suppliers listed on the Availability page, or to laboratory services) are governed by the privacy policies of the destination sites — this policy does not cover third-party websites.

Do Not Track

This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals with a different data-handling behavior. Because analytics is deferred until interaction and used only in aggregate, the same minimal handling applies whether or not DNT is enabled.

Your choices

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts, in which case no analytics data is sent from your session. You can also disable JavaScript entirely — this site is a static site and remains fully readable without it.
