What it is
Thymagen (also spelled Thymogen) is a synthetic thymic dipeptide, alpha-L-glutamyl-L-tryptophan (Glu-Trp), developed in the same Russian peptide-bioregulator program as Thymalin and Vilon. It is a low-molecular-weight immunomodulator distinct from golotimod/SCV-07 (the gamma-D-Glu-L-Trp stereoisomer with a separate literature).

Registered clinical use in Russia; small, mostly Russian literature. Research use is limited to laboratory and education contexts. Doses below are the registered/reference scale, not an endorsement.

- Registered product dosing is about 100 mcg intramuscularly once daily for a short 3–10 day course; intranasal use is also registered.
Preparation and measurement
Reconstitution: 10 mg vial + 2 mL BAC = 5 mg/mL (1 U = 50 mcg).
