What it is
Thymalin is a thymus peptide complex (from the Khavinson bioregulator program) studied for immune system support and healthy-aging research. It is one of the short peptide bioregulators with a Russian clinical tradition — a short-course injectable used to support immune function.
Evidence boundary
Registered clinical use in Russia; small clinical literature. Research use is limited to laboratory and education contexts.
Trial evidence
- Russian clinical course is typically 10 mg intramuscularly daily for 5–10 days, repeated at intervals of several months.
Preparation and measurement
Reconstitution: 10 mg vial + 2 mL BAC = 5 mg/mL.
Concentration matches.

Titration rules
- Standard use: 5–10 mg once daily.
- Course length: 5–10 days, repeated every 1–6 months (common plan: twice a year).
- Morning injection is a common convention for consistency; no stimulant effect, so evening also works.
- Stable at room temperature in lyophilized form; refrigerate after reconstitution and use within a few days.
