What it is

NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in redox reactions, energy metabolism, and DNA repair signaling. IV use belongs in a medical setting. Subcutaneous use remains investigational.

Evidence boundary

Limited and heterogeneous human evidence.

Titration rules

  • The lower-dose protocol and the intensive daily protocol are separate reported schedules; do not combine them.

  • For the lower-dose protocol, the collected reference range is 20–50 mg per administration. Frequency is limited by injection-site tolerance.

  • The intensive source protocol moves 50 → 75 → 100 mg/day at one-week intervals. Do not compress those intervals.

  • Injection-site burning or discomfort

  • Flushing or warmth during or after dosing

  • Nausea or headache

Practical rules

  • Keep IV use in a clinic.
  • Keep the route explicit.
  • Do not treat SQ dosing as a finished standard.
  • Split large doses if sting is a problem.
